Another Cameroonian footballer joins first team at Olympique Lyonnais

Since late Marc Vivien Foe's brilliant stint at French Ligue 1 heavyweights Olympique Lyonnais, Cameroonian footballers seem to have grown quite fond of the team. On the heels of Cameroonian born defender Umtiti who signed a professional deal in March 2012 comes 19 year old striker Clinton Njie (or N'jie like the French press refers to him). The player recently graduated from the French team's football academy by signing a three year professional contract with the first team. He arrived at the French club in 2011 from 'Brasseries du Cameroun''s football academy. Even before becoming a pro, he played four matches last season with Lyon's first team. Although gaining a first team spot isn't going to be a mean fit, we know the Lion he is will surely and bravely snatch a place when such opportunity shows up.
